My name is Kristin. Recently, I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Washington in the iconic(ly damp and gray) city of Seattle. Although most of my life has been surrounded by evergreen trees and rain-filled boots, my childhood was shaped by the sun-soaked sand, vibrant jeepneys and "make-do" attitude of the Philippines. Growing up, my craft supplies consisted of recycled cereal boxes, last quarter's homework paper and cleaned out soda bottles. And out of all of this, my interest in material exploration and simple, sustainable solutions was born.

Outside of design, I've always enjoyed the little things. The last chapter of a second-hand paperback. High ceilings and large windows, where the sunlight seeps in just right. The instrumental intro to a song I've recently sang on repeat. And of course, a dash of color in everything I create.
